1951 eddie collins
Hey guys need your help, I found a 1951 topps eddie collins that normally books for 600. Except whoever had this one cut the player out of the card. Does anyone know if this holds any value now or is it worthless because of cutting the backing out of the card. Pic below

I collect all Colt's, All Vintage QB's and other Vintage.

All Cards are for trade, although some might be worth more to me than what the book says.

RE: 1951 eddie collins
I am not real familiar with most of the more obscure vintage stuff but have to think that would definitely decrease the value by a majority percentage

They certainly look cool. May also depend if they were intended to be punched out of their background. I know of the Batter Up series that was like that but I am not sure about those.

I dont think they were intedned to be punched out. But all the ones i can find for sale are like those. Think i will have to take a gamble and bid on them and maybe its still worth a decent amount.

I believe they are actually meant to be pucnhed out. The ones on the bay that have a back pic, show the player cut out. There is a ruth punched out graded. Now the one with out the bottom is probably not worth anything, but the rest are good.

RE: 1951 eddie collins
The 1951 Topps "Connie Mack All Star" cards are commonly found with the backs removed, but will suffer value wise.
Just like the R318 Batter Up or the V300 O-Pee Chee cards, if the back was punched it looses some value, and if the back was completely removed it will lose well over 75% of its value.
