I finally got into the forums section so now let me see if I have this straight. To logon to the website I use my e-mail and a password. Then to go to the forums section I have to login again with my user name and ANOTHER password?

I got the same thing. Fustrating... heading to another site until Beckett can get this one back up...

I just dont get it. Why all the hassle. Why cant I just use either an e-mail or user name and a password once to access my OPG and the forums? I hope they get this worked out.

I had this issue. If you had a password on the old site that was under 6 characters. Go to your account and change it to at least 6 characters. This fixed it for me. Been nice if we were told about this by email, they do have our email on file. This new site is very disappointing.

Thanks for the advice but I tried that three times this morning and it would work when I logged onto the OPG but would not transfer over when I hit the forums tab. I also called twice today and talked to two "IT" guys who just told me to wait a few days until everything gets worked out. I see the IT guy says this issue has been fixed but it hasn't been fixed at all. So.. for now I and I'm sure many others have two passwords for this site.

Actually, I believe it's supposed to be 8 characters. Please try again. If it won't let you , you might have to reset your browser settings since you've already logged in with a new id. But here's what's supposed to happen. You are supposed to be logged into the forums automatically (a change was made last night or this morning, I forget). However, if you don't, when you go to a thread and hit reply, it's supposed to take you to a login screen. NOT the site's login screen, the forum login screen. Here you're supposed to put in your id "sjodgers36" and then your password (over 8 characters). Let me know if you still have issues.

Thank you for the help. I did as you advised but ultimately had to request a temporary password which was sent to my e-mail. Using the new temporary password and user ID I was finally able to access my user control panel and change my password again which now works for both OPG and forum sections. Hope this is worked out. Thanks again.

Glad it worked....in a way. Wish it would have worked as directed.
