Agree. I have been able to set my default address for the trade forum but still shows Afganistan.

What browser are you using? There is either a coding glitch or something IE doesn't like. Chrome, Safari and Firefox ignore it. If you could try one of those browsers until they fix the issue, it'll probably work. I recommend Chrome.

That's the first thing I did when I saw the thread. The drop down window only gives the option of the US. So I can safely assume I am either still residing in Afghanistan or the Outer Islands of US, which by the way isn't far off. I am afterall in Nova Scotia and we are almost an island and not far away from the US coast.

Nope still living in Afghanistan... Try to change it and only offered USA for Country. I use IE8...

Yes, I am. But considering I have no intentions of trading anytime soon I won't be playing around with new browsers to fix it. My address is irrelevant right now. Just didn't want others (IT guy) to get the impression this issue was resolved.

No, they're aware it's not resolved and I submitted to them what the fix probably is. They have listed it and they will get to it in time. it's not top priority because trading can't be done without the organize, so they want to get Organize going (I believe). But no, we know it's not fixed.
