For our existing customers, we also have a plan to say “Thank you” for hanging in there with us. We will announce the plan at launch. I know some of you have experienced serious frustration with account and site issues. In just a few weeks, that will be a thing of the past.

We will post the exact date of new site launch very soon. We will likely do our switch on our lowest volume day and time, so expect an odd time and date.

Or should I assume the "Thank you" was being able to keep your old subscription rate and not getting jacked with the new one because you gave up when the site was down? I may have missed it, but I don't recall seeing the "announcement of the plan at launch".

I asked. Being grandfathered into the old pricing for the rest of the year is the reward for current customers that was mentioned in a previous update.

I have been wondering the same thing.

I was quite and didn't gripe about how bad the site had got or constantly post on why the new site wasn't up.I was wondering the whole time what the surprise would be for the "loyal" customers,maybe a month or two free or BGS coupons.

I certainly hope our big 'thanks" wasn't keeping the same price on a unexpected rate hike.I got in a new credit card and forgot to change the numbers for my auto renew.My subscription didn't renew and i caught the problem next day and renewed with new number.

If this had happened a day later and the new site was up would i have got screwed like some of the other customers that let their OPG lapse until a "Working Site" was up?

The site looks like its gonna be great once all the bugs are worked out but Beckett really hasn't been handling some issues with the site and their customers in a businesslike manner.

I canceled my OPG. I couldn't use it 50% of the time anyway. No way I'm paying more when I couldn't use it when I had it.

A few years ago Beckett had one of the best sites on the internet. It was a very simple site and everyone loved it.

I don't know why they chose to mess with what was working, because it seems whenever you make something more complicated it just becomes easier to break.

This latest 'new' site seems to have its own share of problems, again, because it's obviously very involved and complicated.

I don't know why companies feel everything has to be shiny and fancy. Sometimes people just want the simple things that work. A pre-fabricated Wordpress blog for Chris Olds to tell us what's going on, a pre-fabricated bulletin board where we can chat about and trade cards. That's all existing technology that anyone can throw up in a few minutes. I just don't understand why we can't keep it simple sometimes.

Change is not always good. I've been here for a very long time. I stayed after the first site change, and I'll stay after this site change.

I believe they'll fix the problems, but not tomorrow, and most likely not even this month.

What I don't understand is why no one at Beckett ever asks our opinions on things before they do them, or why don't conduct surveys or polls?

What I understand even less is why when things go wrong and we react with dismay they turn against us for asking questions and voicing criticisms and concerns.
