cmcjr99 , aka the demon Wrote:ok , so you e-mailed him...perhaps he isn't sitting home by his computer eagerly awaiting e-mails from e-bay sellers who want to cancel his bids....it's a friday night....he may be working ...he may be out on a date , or with the wife and kids doing the family thing....be patient.... Or maybe he is bidding with no intention to pay... you don't need to be "eagerly awaiting e-mails from e-bay sellers" to respond to them. cmcjr99 , aka the demon Wrote:and if he DOES bid and not pay , it's quite simple....you file a non-paying bidder claim ... if he does not respond (and pay) you then you close the claim , hit him with an unpaid item strike to get your fees reimbursed , then block his id from bidding on your items and then relist the cards....kinda simple.... Kinda simple. But not as simple as being proactive and getting some communication prior to the auction ending. What you suggest is actually a lot of work that could be avoided with a quick email prior to the auction ending. |

I do know how it works on ebay, having sold stuff from $1.00 up to $2,600, who wants to go thru the hassle you described, and I highly doubt he has "won over 100 items "and not gotten any feedback, as a newbie I always wanted to get my+ feedback to get established, and always tried to give newbies that were fair their + feedback pronto. I think you got a little off base with the whole sitting by the computer thing, but, I appreciate the opinions and will LYK how it plays out, my money is on he is a stiff, and I am a very good in regards to instincts, sometimes, thanks guys..

Have to say that of all the stuff I've sold on ebay the majority of the stiffs is 70% newbies and 30% people who do alot of buying. I can honestly say I have had probably 15-30 non payers over 2+ years, and it usually isn't for a lot of money, it's just the aggravation!!
