Why the price guide increase & other ?'s
Question 1. Why the increase in the online price guide?

2. Why does it say I've only been a member since Feb. 2011?

3. What's the deal with the time signatures,
(they are many hours off)?

Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated, especially the first question.

RE: Why the price guide increase & other ?'s
Price increase on OPGs applies for now only to new purchases. Existing subscriptions at the time the new site went online will continue to receive the old price for the rest of the year whenver the OPG auto-renews. If a priceguide is allowed to expire and then purchased again later, the new pricing will be in effect.

Member since is because base statistics haven't been updated yet.

Time Signature: Don't know. It's on the developers list a little ways down Smile My guess is it's related to the way everybody has their time zone in their profile now and relative times not calculate properly when they display.

Seems to me that Beckett intentionally made it impossible for people to subscribe to the $6 OPG prior to the new site going online just so they could squeeze an extra $3 out of us. Un-freakin-believable!

EXACTLY!! I purposely let mine expire last month, with the intention to re-start it when the new site was up and running. This is the thanks we get? I can't believe that their idea of "thanking their loyal customers" was to raise the prices on the rest of us. I had a feeling those of us that let our subscriptions expire were going to get SCREWED!

yeah we might not have to pay the increase this year but we will next. I don't think the upgrade is worth an extra $3 though. Also what is the reward that the ones that stayed supposed to be?

RE: Why the price guide increase & other ?'s
to be honest I think that $9 a month is pretty reasonable for what Beckett can offer when the site is working to its full potential (heck even how the site was running prior to the upgrade it was worth more than we were paying)

Tell me another site that offers even 1/10th of what Beckett does for less than we pay.

I don't have a problem with the price. It isn't totally unreasonable. I have a problem with how they went about it. Their LOYAL customers could have been told ahead of time. Also it's not good business. Rather than get a year out of me now at the old rate they will be lucky to get 2 or 3 months at $9 in any 12 month period.
