Upper Deck has drafted a blue-chip cast of rookies headlined by the Associated Press College Player of the Year from the University of Texas, Kevin Durant (Seattle No. 2). Durant is joined by back-to-back National Champion Florida Gators Al Horford (Atlanta No. 3), Corey Brewer (Minnesota No. 7) and Joakim Noah (Chicago No. 9). Running the point for the UD team is Ohio State spark plug Michael Conley, Jr. (Memphis No. 3). Doing the dirty work and dropping threes is the Hoyas Jeff Green (Boston No. 5), and rounding out the celebrated draft class is the versatile Jay Hawk Julian Wright (New Orleans No. 13).

Each of these athletes will be making their Upper Deck/Fleer basketball debut in Fleer Ultra SE Basketball (SRP $4.99 per 15-card hobby pack, available in early September). The young basketball stars have signed exclusive autograph deals with Upper Deck.

In 2005 and 2006, UD inked deals with Rookies of the Year Chris Paul and Brandon Roy, as well the No. 1 overall pick in 2003, NBA superstar LeBron James.
