Ok so I opened a box of 2010 Bowman Sterling today....lol and was quite pissed lol.

First pack.... Arrelious Benn auto no numbering

Second Pack..... Sean Witherspoon auto no numbering

Third Pack..... Taylor Price auto no numbering

Fourth Pack... Taylor Price jersey auto /99

Fifth Pack..... Taylor price auto /99

Sixth pack....... Taylor Price jersey auto no numbering

Needless to say at $265 a box I didnt think 4 of my 6 autos would be the same frickin guy WOW.... any comments would be appreciated I could use them lol.

lol yea I wish someone that kinda luck would be nice to hear that from someone. I was looking through my jersey cards from the box and I also got 2 Taylor Price rookie jersey cards lol. Halfway there for a rainbow i guess.

I'm not all about Taylor Price, but I am also a Patriots fan. I would have been okay with that box, but not happy. I know how you feel. I busted a Topps Platinum box for Xmas and my three AU's were: Arrelious Benn (awesome looking 3 color JSY/AU card) and 2 versions of Carlton Mitchell (Browns). It really sucks to get multiple 'hits' of the same guy unless he is a PC player especially if it is the exact same card except the serial #'ing and/or color. At least I traded the Benn for a decent Smitty JSY card, but those 2 C. Mitchell cards will probably stay here much longer than I want to see them. How can one guy have an AU #'d to 1099 and still have many other versions. The other was a blue parallel #'d to 599. If players are signing at least 2500 cards per set, why are AU's worth anything anymore? The card companies make us want them, but then they provide nothing but crap/nobodys/possible backup player AU's! This is the main reason I have barely purchased any 2010 products. I spent more on singles this year than I have for the past several yrs. combined and they mostly weren't 2010 singles. I really hope 2011 is better in quality for us box buyers!!!

It might be worth your trouble to contact Topps to explain the situation. Who knows, they might exchange one of the autos for someone else. Worst case scenerio is you just get stuck with all of them.

Perhaps the card gods want you to start a Taylor Price collection. Believe it or not, that's what got me started collecting Johnny Podres. Had no clue who he was until I pulled 4 of his autographs in a row. Strange indeed....

I had that same problem with a box of sterling basketball I got all jeff green cards
