Dino, (marinersguy41) has a terminal illness. It causes him to type and communicate in a manner that is nearly unintelligible. I'm not defending his actions, but that being said he's likely confused about how to trade or he may have touble remembering or comprehending the details of the trade. I probably wouldn't trade with him based on his losing his communication skills, but I will say that he probably doesn't remember receiving his card. I would ask him who takes care of him, then write a letter to the caretaker explaining the situation etc. I'm sure that providing the evidence of the insurance to his caretaker would remedy the sitiuation.

I obviously wouldn't punch a person with an illness like his. My comment was meant for a trader who was just an a$$.

Just because the guy may have made a mistake and marked it as "received" your calling him out without even having all the facts first.
Your making it sound like he is a thief without any proof and that's not very cool dude. That's the worst thing to do is accuse somebody without all the evidence first.

If you insure a package it automaticaly has a DC# so in other words he can go to the post office and check to see if it was delivered. The post office would never insure a package and not know if it wasn't delivered....its a trick of the trade you can kill 2 birds with one stone by insuring a package and you get the DC for free. Thats something the PO won't tell you emoticon

FYI: Del.confirm and Insurance are 2 different things, When you send out a pkg you have to buy the insurance to get it insured if you want DC you have to pay for that seperate, the only way you get DC for free is if you sign up for click and ship and send your pkg's priority mail using click and ship and then you get free DC. Any pkg. that has some sort of numbered service can be looked up under track and confirm and know that it was del. The numbered services are certified, insurance, registered, sig. confirm, del confirm, without a numbered service there is no way to know.

If the package was sent with only $100 Insurance it doesn't have to be signed for, but the post office now for any amount of insurance does track the item and can put a tracker for the particular item to show its delivered status. If you want something to be signed for by using insurance only, it has to be insured for $200.01 or more.

I ship trades out within 2 business days with DC. If you have less than 20 feedback you're sending first. Please don't ask me to check your org if you're not going to respond. Enjoying the boards again one ignore list addition at a time.

Well I will disagree with you because he had to pick it up and sign for it as he did as the Post Office told me.

You are correct but you can get that information though it will cost you a little more as I will be paying to have the evidence to show he signed for it and picked it up at a certain day and time. As far as DC that just states it was delivered dosen't actually mean the guy recieved it because anyone can grab it after its dropped off in the mail box and thats why I insure items over $100.00.

Jim: have you talked to his doctors or seen his medical records to prove that he is terminally ill with a brain tumor as he claims?

Seriously, I never believed his story to begin with, if you have a terminal illness the last place you want to be is online trying to trade cards, as I know a million things I would be doing if I were terminally ill, and this is definitely not one of them.

The Internet is Fantasy-land for a lot of people, we have guys on this site claiming to be girls, kids claiming to be adults, people claiming that their computer is down, and don't send out their end of trades, but yet they can obviously log on to the site every day and agree to new trades, 30 yr old's claiming to be 13 and trying to pickup 12 yr old's, 14 yr old's claiming to be 23, etc...

Not defending either trader here but,
This is the reason if I have never traded with you ( anybody that is) I not only look at feedback rating but I also check the posts and threads he had made to check the character of the person. If I since something wrong I would have made him/her ship first then ship mine with dc or insurance depending on the amount of the trade. Reading peoples posts and threads tells you what kind of person you are trying to trade with.
Now if he never posted or started a thread I would send a pm if he replies you can see his personality that way. If he doesnt reply cancel the trade something is wrong. Always do your homework before you trade with someone you dont know.
