[Halldogg]

Ok, I went fishing last weekend while here in Mississippi(Biloxi) and caught 4 shark, well needless to say, another guy on the boat will be here for another two weeks for training so he gave me his. So I ended up with 14 filets of shark. I also have already bought the following to take back with me when I leave to head home tomorrow morning:

3 Packages of Gator Sausage
1 package of Crawfish Boudin
1 Package of Seafood Boudin
2 Packages of Gator Meat (1lb ea.)
2 Huge Grouper Filets over 1lb ea.
4 Red Snapper Filets approx .75lb each


I am heading to the shrimping boats in the morning to get about 15-20lbs of shrimp fresh from the harbor. My question is: They have regular size shrimp(Count per lb is unknown at the moment) for about $2.50 per lb and JUMBO shrimp that are almost the size of my hand with heads on for $5 per pund. How much should I get of each? Any suggestions?

I may be able to hold onto some for when you come out my way in December, if it doesn't get frot bitten, otherwise I would have to eat it before then! LOL!

get 3 pounds of normal shrimp and 1 1/2 pound of the jumbo!

I am looking at around 15-20lbs of shrimp to bring back and deep freeze in my big freezer. I will get more than 41/2lbs total. I just know I cannot afford to get all 15-20lbs as Jumbo shrimp. I am hoping to spend no more than $80 total. I bought a big Cooler today that is a 100qt 5 day cooler. That should help my stuff last for 6 hours on the road hopefully.

It will be eaten before that happens! LOL! I cannot wait to get home to start cooking some of this stuff up!

nice stuff, ima catch a bass while im with my aunt for 3 weeks dude...a bass larger than those shark...than EAT THEM! I fish for a motive, that is fried fish filets...i love whole bluegill as well, man now i just want to head out to the pond and cast out a couple buzz baits...dang gone you Mark! Oh and jumbo shrimp, i love shrimp, that would be my faviorite eatings, i grill them on skewers with lemon etc...oh man...why must you talk about this Mark, nice catches i must say
