There are so many different type of collectors with prospects, team collectors, vintage guys ... Lots of times people are looking for that needle in the haystack.But who are the no-brainers?

The guys you know pick up at a card show and it will hold its value for years to come.

You can pick low-end, medium-range and high-end guys too.

+1, the only problem is I trade away sell those guys when there stuff is hot. I cashed in on my Durant RC's when he had a great run last year. I kept one High end RC year auto that I pulled. I am now considering doing the same to 4 Blake Griffin autos. I usually do keep MJ stuff with nice eye appeal.

MJ is the complete no brainer. His cards will always hold value and everyone seems to want them.

Since he's retired if anything they've only got more valuable and you don't run the risk of a career ending injury or sudden loss of form erroding their value like you do with guys still playing.

Tim Duncan... He's got 1-2 years left max... HOF LOCK...Dennis Rodman (talk about him getting in the HOF) - he did have that 19rpg season (yes rebounds)$ DeMar DeRozan (he's hot and cold now, but seems to be improving a lot) Shaq Kobe Derrick Rose (look at his MVP Caliber season) Deron Williams Dwayne Wade Dwight Howard, David Lighty, DeJuan Blair (when Duncan retires his mins double)
