I am not sold on the Manu/Patch autos as of yet. I am scared that the auto's may fade over the years. I would go with the Prestige. I am a set collector as well, and that would be one AWESOME set! Good luck either way you lean to

ive put together the base logo patch set.. just got the haden and morgan redemptions yesterday.(when i get motivated to scan 50 cards im gonna post it someday)haha.. i wanted to do the /22 or less but it was just too freakn hard! i found and bought all the base patch autos within a 2 week time frame.. i LIKE the patch autos myself and having the /22 or less would be a pretty cool set!

well, i cant stand auto's on fabric so the helmet auto is my pick.. and they look good with the auto in the middle of the card.. besides.. arent these manufactured patch auto's getting old?

didnt state in mine i did the rookies and stars TEAM logo patch auto set... 251-300...not the prestige draft patches.

I don't usually buy the manufactured patch autos....except for some of the cards in National Treasures of the legends of the game. The Prestige NFL Logo patch autos are the same as the Rookies and Stars. The only difference is the border/background. I like the blue background on the Rookies and Stars. I don't think the cards look as busy.

Yeah, I'm not touching the Prestige NFL Logo set. I pulled a couple and couldn't get rid of them fast enough. If I didn't like the look of the RS Blue NFL Logo autos, I'd skip it, too.

There aren't many new products out that I like right now. I have made a conscious effort to avoid most of the Topps products. I don't like the small patch windows and the "aluminum" surfaces on everything or the poor centering (I've spent too much over the years on grading for getting killed with the centering and scratched surfaces).

My best Topps' pull last year was a Mark Sanchez gold refractor with patch that was #'d to 10. There was a 20% border on one side and 80% on the other. I would have kept it but the centering drove me nuts.

It is getting old to see that Panini seems to be using the same Logo autos in a lot of their product...Prestige, RS, National Treasures. They only change the border. Time for something new, I suppose.

Since I posted this, in the last 24 hours I've seen more Prestige helmet autos than I've seen in months. A lot of players I haven't seen before. It's less expensive than when they came out. I picked up a few last night. Since they are available, I might have to start leaning in that direction.

i like the helmets too, have 7 of them.. but the set is only 33 and its only 5 players that arent featured in the R&S patch auto set sooo.. it is a lil cheaper to do the helmets id say.. i spent a good penny on the cards i needed.

the epix football field autos are cheesy but a unique set.. prolly just as cheap as the draft helmets? or the freshman orientation autos are pretty cool this year.. maybe try to do the LONGEVITY set? just a thought! GL on your choice!
