The second set which is very tough to find finally surfaced on EBAY in complete set form. Cards had some corner wear and were said to be NM-MT but corner wear is NM or lower. Item did not last but nearly 8 hours and went for the full offer price of $275. This comes as no surprise to me. The idea you can get these in NM-MT for $120 as the book says is just non sense. The Kerry Von Erich Rookie card is going to be the most valuable in this set and the notion you can get it in NM-MT for $10 is just as crazy. These cards are on fire and more and more non wrestling collectors can't fight the urge to get some.

Sorry I eman how to look up population of graded stuff on this Beckett site? PSA I can do already thanks! I want to build a registry for all the 82/83 cards and then maybe try to get some old Hulkster autos and maybe a King Kong Bundy or Macho Man RC or auto. I like Flair too but I was a WWF person in the 80s. Trying to find out so I can get in on the wrestling and UFC stuff before it blows up any more than it already is. The UFC is blowing up hard after the Cain Velasquez win the stuff is 5 times what it was now and keeps climbing. The wrestling stuff is absolutely on fire and I want to buy a few pieces before the Hulk goes from many hundreds to many thousands. I am looking for an 82 wrestling stars Hulk Hogan XRC in BGS 9.5 and a 1985 Topps Hogan RC both the #1 and #16 in BGS 9.5 any leads? Are there even any? mdogg20

In order to look up a BGS graded card you must have the serial number of the Wrestling All Stars card and type it into the database. Once you are in you can look at the population of that card only.

There is 1 Gem Mint Hogan from BGS and none from PSA.

PSA is much tougher on top to bottom centering then BGS. Many high grade BGS cards won't cross over to PSA becuase of centering from top to bottom so if you are trying to build a registry set either pick one or keep them mixed and matched.

I do know who owns the Gem Mint and it is going to take thousands not hundreds to get. He also has one of the Gem Mint Topps Hogan's.

A mint Hogan will sell for well over a $1,000 in graded form already so you will have to get out your pocket book to win a card like that.

Cards graded an 8 or higher go for $500 at a minimum and some much higher depending of the quality of the card in the case.

Wow! hey thanks for the information that was helpful! So I guess looking up the entire set of 82 and 83 wrestling or say all of the BGS graded hogan cards 1982 - 2010 is something we cannot do yet? In other sports you can I wonder why wrestling is not in that group.

Wrestling and UFC stuff are the hottest stuff on the market I have seen in my analysis of all sports stuff. The cool thing is there are no secondary issues with Wrestling that would affect the value like other sports. Lets take Arod cards or even better yet Tiger Woods stuff. All took a hit because they had issues and were not on TV.

Hulkamania will run wild forever brother and there is no stopping it. MARK MY WORDS!!Who cares if these guys shoot up it makes for better Wrestling! I think that I am going to focus on wrestling for sure and having stuff graded is the only way to go in my opinion. BGS or PSA I have not decided. I like both but there is something cool about having a golden label and subs I like. Personal preference I guess!

I figured a BGS 9.5 or PSA 10 Hulk 82 would be minimum $3500 as I hear these cards are about impossible to get in high grades. A guy at a show told me a BGS 8.5 Andre the Giant is like having a gem mint copy and a BGS 9 hulk is huge. Thanks for the help man I am a big fan of stuff and was kind of bummed there are not others that like to chat about cool cards and old school wrestling. Even the new stuff is not bad but I like Hulk, DDP, Goldberg, Stone Cold and all those guys. I like Cena and Big Show too but nothing like the classics.

I saw the 85 Topps Hogan in 9.5 went for $300 and some change? Was that auction not done right or someting that seems like half price big time! I was going to bid $650 but I missed the auction. mdogg20

Yes an Andre 8.5 is a major card. I am the largest owner of all Wrestling All Stars cards.

I have an Andre BGS 9 and it was very expensive on the private market. I also have two BGS 8.5's, a BGS 8, two PSA 8's, a PSA 7 and 11 raw Andre's.

I have a BGS 9 Hogan, a PSA 9 Hogan, a BGS 8.5 Hogan, a PSA 8 Hogan and four PSA 7 Hogan's. All of my Hogan's are graded.

I have a PSA 10 Ric Flair, a PSA 9, a PSA 9(OC), five PSA 8's, a PSA 6 and 7 raw Ric Flair's.

If you go to the PSA Registry you can find my sets of all the Wrestling All Stars. I am very close to having my average weighed grade above a 9 for the 82A and B.

In total I have accumulated 1200 cards from all three sets and I am not done.

When my latest PSA submission comes back I will own over 300+ graded cards from both companies.

Mark my words, a Gem Mint Hogan will go for a stagering price and it will be much higher then anyone expects.

I said many times over, these are the cards. As you stated their is no substitute for these. These are the rookie cards and the only one's. There are less then 2000 sets of each and trust me many are in EX condition or less. I have spent countless hours working on my sets and a gret deal of financial resources. These cards are going much higher due to scarcity and condition issues. It is only a matter of time.

dpeck1000- This might sound like a stupid question, but I am just wondering if you have any extra 1982 All star Rock N Roll Buck Zumhofe cards you would be looking to get rid of. I was able to buy 1 online a few months back, but haven't seen 1 since. Buck lives about 10 miles from me and I see him all the time. He would love to have 1 in his collection.

Chris Richard collector - 121/200
