As many of you that frequent that trade boards as well know, that I am taking a hiatus from the boards for a while. I am getting married soon and am buying a house and have quite a few travel plans for work and what not, so the time has come for me to take a break from all the message boards and trading. I am not really leaving the hobby, as I still plan on collecting what I can for myself, but I really wont have a trade section or anything like that.

I will be on rarely to shoot the breeze with a few of you, and I am going to go to the national and pick up a few things for my PC and I am sure if the signifant other goes on a trip or something I will hop on and check things out on here.


This is something I have enjoyed doing as a hobby and a supplemental income for almost 20 years now. SO, after 20 years, I wanted to share what my PC looks like. I am very proud of it, a few of the things are still incoming from BGT, manurud, and 1padresfan, so a few cards will have to be rescanned. There are some glaring holes I would like to fill at the national like a koufax auto, gretzky auto, larry bird auto, etc.

Yeah, I have been there man.....I remember back in like 1999 and 2000, I barely could even afford the game used stuff of the stars, mainly because it sold so well. I remember setting up at shows and getting like $100 bucks out of a jersey.

I will probably make another post when I get back from the National the first week of August sometime and show people what I picked up...
