I'm trying to do a master set of the 2004 TNA set. The only legends auto left that I need is the Roddy Piper. I had a British collector offer me this one, but I thought it was odd. I've never seen any of the legends cards (including the pipers) with a black ink auto....other than that the card seems ok, but I wanted to get your opinions on it. Also, he offered me the AJ Styles red variant...I'll show you guys scans, give me your opinions on them...thanks guys!

That is real...a lot of guys use their own markers back then...especially in the 1998 1999 WCW NWO sets and on through 2005 Topps Heritage. 2010 TNA is really the only release where there is some sort of organization of blue and red autos. The Rowdy auto looks good albeit a little shaky within the realm of legitimacy.

as long as it all looks good, I'm happy. He's gotten out of collecting and is dropping them to me for a fraction of what they'd go for anywhere else...I'm fine with a crappy auto, as long as its legit. Thanks bro!
