What's the subgrades?? Instead of a reslab (If you were planning on it) maybe just get it regraded? and hope for a 9.5?? wishful thinking but you never know could be just something simple as fingerprints holding down the surface..(depending on the subgrades)

Sweet card!!

Deez,

I have a few slabs of mine that I would like to have reslabbed. Some are scratched beyond repair, some have chips. This particular one has a centering of 9.5, surface and edges have 9's and an 8.5 on the corners. Card looks good to me, kind of hard to tell through the slab because of the deep scratches and my crappy scanner lol. I doubt it would regrade a 9.5, seems so far off the current grades. It was, however, graded on February 22, 2001. Perhaps if it does hold true that grades were tougher to attain back then, it may have a shot at the gold. What do you think?

Joe

Ahh, I see maybe reslabbed is the way to go..Still a great card and grade. Do you know how those were seeded? like I said I never saw one before. Cool design IMO..

I love this design as well. One of my favorites for sure. They were 1:144 Hobby or retail packs in 97-98 Topps Series I. A pretty hard pull back in the day. There were 20 different cards available, so 1:2880 to pull a Jordan.

Turn away, they're hideous. Non-true GEMS, ugghhhhh! However, the player is a 10. Big Grin

I am down to grading the base cards and lower-end stuff for my Natalie Gulbis Master Set Registry. Just got these back.
