Thats A nice card! I always thought he had a cool name.

When I was in High School a kid I knew got to talking with me about cards. He said his grandpa gave him a old Ruth card, and a Mantle card I told him to bring them in.

The next day he walks up and opens his wallet, in there was:

1958 Mickey Mantle AS - it was in okay condition

Then he pulls out a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth
The bad thing is this idiot druggie drew a blunt coming out of Ruth's mouth and wrote all over the card.
I told him the card WAS worth a lot of money and he didn't even care.

I asked him if I could have the cards but he wouldn't give them to me, he was probably thinking I would give him money.

Too lazy to scan myself. One of my first slab pick ups. Been lurking on here for awhile and can see how addicting the gold can be. The cards are fun look at.

Aaron.
