Sounds like Noah had an incredible season....I always enjoy reading your posts when I stop by the BMB from time-to-time.

Best of luck to you and your family. :-)

Thanks!! It is always good to see you around!

If you need anything from Yankee Stadium as a momento, PM or email me! I'll take care of you. We'll be touring on Wednesday and catching a game on Thursday. Then, on Sunday, it will be Cooperstown and the HOF.

I made that same trip last summer - Cooperstown, Shea and Yankee stadium....you and the boys will have a blast. I was excited because I was there just days before Gwynn's induction....plus, I wanted to see Yankee stadium before it was demolished. Have fun!!!

Nearball? From research, that is coach pitch. Noah's at the "AA" level and they use a pitching machine set at 40 mph.

Noah's been playing off the pitching machine since just after he turned 6. Next year, he'll face pitchers and the machine. He's pretty excited!

Congrats to the team! Does your son sign TTM? Tongue

Boy, little league sure was some fun times. My darling newborn came into the world just last month, and I've already gotten him a sterilized baseball to suckle on! I'm a bit afraid that the little leagues here in Japan though are a little bit too hard on the kids. Sure, it makes for disciplined baseball, but it's important to have fun too!

IF he would ever end up playing in the minor or majors, I can promise you he will. I believe that his positive and negative experiences at getting autographs will definitely help out fans!! Tongue

Enjoy your time with your son. It is great for the kids to be disciplined and do well at the game, but in the end it is all about FUN!! Whether your son plays there or not, take the time to teach him about the history, about the dynamics and numbers of the game.

My sons loves math and numbers and that magnifies his enjoyment of the game. He looks at players stats for the season, career, etc. I believe with background on everything, there is so much more to the game than just what is on the surface.

Thanks, David

PS Good luck with and congrats on the new addition to the family!!
