Yeah, I agree man. I think being that I am still young, getting the hard to get autos could be something that could take a while but would be nice to complete eventually. I am in no rush. I just have to be patient with this and not try to buy every auto in the next month.

I have every sig except Maravich. I tend to stay away from autos that were never put into packs. So im satisfied with having 49/50.
Barkley, Ewing and Bing are the toughest (Wilt too).
Dave Bing amongst all is the hardest in my opinion. I have 2, one being a co-signer with Ben Gordon. If you are doing 2 a month, you should be able to get it (as long as you also save for the Barkley and Chamberlain).

Thanks for the heads up. I have already spotted a Dave Bing. Do they sell for a lot? I think at first I could probably get 4-5 a month based on my card budget (120-150 per month), maybe more at first. Then probably less than that after I get a bunch. For the most part, I have seen a lot of the cards I am looking for range from 10-20 dollars. I have looked at Frazier, Unseld, Hal Greer, Archibald, and Cowens for under $20 dollars at the Buy it Now price. I am trying to get them lower in actual auctions.

Off to a good start so far! With some of the money I have won on Ebay I got a Dave Cowens JSY Auto /49 for $9 delivered and a Nate Archibald /49 for $7 delivered! Cant really beat that!

Roughly about $75-$125 for a pack inserted auto. Yea, hes tough. Only signed for 2006 Chronolgy (which I have never seen) and 2004 Finest Autographs(both cards limited to 50) & 2004 Topps Luxury Box. Then there is a "cut" auto in this years Sportskings limited to 50. Thats about it.

Barkley is second hardest behind Wilt & Pete (as Pete only has few cuts sigs, and Wilt is 3 1999/2000 UD Autos) as he ONLY signed for Fleer Autographics and 1 Fresh Ink. And they were super rare.

As far as Karl Malone, I suggest getting his Fleer Highlights autograph from 1994 Ultra.

Thanks for all the information! I had found a Dave Bing auto that had 6 days left in the auction. Before you gave the infor, it was at .99. I checked back like 3 hours later and it was already at $66! Just that quick that fast! Do you mind sending me a PM with the prices of the "harder" autos you got? Nick, honestly i dont think i would do it, i think the list is outdated for the 50th anniversary squad.  I think it would be cool to do a MVP auto set.  Then for the rest of you life, every year, unless someone gets another mvp award, you could add to the set, think about when youre like 70 and you have every mvp auto from the past several years, i think that would be sweet.
