Bad Trader: adamdkaras ------- And Statement
I too have made trades with him. He always ships on time and has the cards that I requested from the trade enclosed inside a bubble mailer in the condition that was described. A+ trader in my book.

Always looking for Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Titans, and Memphis Grizzlies autographs and memorabilia. Also, autographs of Tennessee Volunteers players.

We need stricter policies! If a trader knows he's screwing someone what's going to stop him from racking up many trades until he finally gets called out or suspended?

And it's not impossible to just bail on a username and make a new one, there are ways around the IP thing.

Ther should be a timeframe someone has to ship and be able to prove it. If you can't ship in a timely manner then DON'T TRADE! Everyone has access to Paypal, 19 cents for DC and no trips to the P.O. It should be mandatory, all we have now is the "honor system" and you see how good that works.

If any of you agree with anything I've said then please speak up. Those of you that don't must be perfectly happy just ROLLING THE DICE.

This isn't just a rant, I would like to see change and I hope others that have been victimized would too.

PhillyFan,

I agree with everything you have said. However, I had a trade with Adamkaras in the last month that went just fine. I will admit I had seen a thread calling him out as a bad trader in the past. I even had him on my own personal "do not trade with" list. I obviously did not look at my list before making the trade. I am glad my deal worked out. Sorry to hear about your bad trade. Good Luck getting your cards.

I build sets, collect Lou Brock & Jeremy Maclin. Both of my sons went to Kirkwood HS with Jeremy. I will also look at Kurt Warner, Big Ben and Old Big Red Auto's.

I agree about putting stronger policies in place. We are discussing this over on the Basketball board as well. If Beckett wants to support a trade function on their site, they need to allow us to report bad traders as well... rather than just "trade at your own risk".
How come they can't just take complaints and throw all the user names of bad traders into a thread that headlines every board???

I have a trade pending with this guy.  Trade accepted on June 14th, he marked the cards as received, but has yet to send my cards.  So far I've given the benefit of the doubt....it's just one of those things that happens when you work on the internet "honor" system.

I collect any and all Los Angeles Dodgers cards, and I am currently building a M
att Kemp and Andre Ethier collection.
I have lots of base, rookies, and some ins
erts up for trade....but I will add more on a regular basis.

RiceLynnEvans75 Wrote:Though I hate to see someone get ripped off, I find it kind of hypocritical and odd that the OP started this thread on such a rant when he openly committed mail fraud by making a thread on these boards about 1 1/2-2 months ago ranting about getting a card in a PWE from an ebay deal and then to get the seller back claimed that he never got the card and was then refunded all the money (approximately $30 for a Steve Carlton RC) and also got to keep the card as a result.

I feel bad for all the people who got ripped off from this guy but for the OP......karma.

How would stricter policies stop someone from ripping you off if you have already traded with them before? Couldn't you just take the personal responsibility and find a middleman to escrow the deal for you? Also, having a DC number does not guarantee you will receive anything or that anything was even shipped in the first place.

He ripped me as well. The whole situation is weird, it's like something happened to him. First off, he ripped me for 2 lower end cards, why even bother? He also marked the cards i sent as received and even left feedback for me. What ripper leaves feedback? However, he did mark the cards he was ending me as shipped and that obviously didn't happen

And people who made successful trades with him need to realize that good traders go bad and quit defending the thief

I also had a bad experience with him, he had marked his cards as received, and after that he "shipped" his. It wasnt til a MONTH later that I finally received my end of the deal! I don't know what this guys problem is, but I agree that something needs to be done to solve this issue.
