I drew a few disgruntle messages and posts here since I tested the waters on eBay with that Tebow card. My intentions were never to sell it, but merely to see what kind of value it would draw since it was a 1/1 and would never be listed in the Football Beckett Magazine. I appreciate the IMs I got from some of you that understood and supported me, while those who did not, all I can say is I hope they will someday understand. I felt at times like I was being backed into a corner and had to defend myself against people who did not know the real facts or chose not to. I also want to thank Tracy whom I spoke with on this matter and was in agreement. My account was restored and all is well. I just hope I don't have to do that again and report the uncalled for banning to Beckett again.
I will be deleting the Tebow card off eBay by Thursday. While it would be nice to actually get that kind of money for a card, I know the bids are more than likely bogus and I really had not planned on selling it anyways. I just couldn't very well list the card and have in the description "NOT REALLY FOR SALE" if I wanted to get some real offers for it.
Unfortunately Beckett does not list prices on these cards because they are hard to track due to the scarcity of them. I will just have to assume that the card is worth from $400-700 based on several thoughts by other members here who were respectful enough to give suggestions on it without all the drama on the boards.
So again, thanks to all my supporters (even the ones who were nice of enough to give me the benefit of the doubt and not say anything).
