I would take the money from a box and buy a sweet highend single or two. Then youre sure to get something worth your money. But if you just got it like that and can get one for the hell of it, I would surely get a box of Showcase...

TG48--I agree w/ both of the 1st 2 sentences. I really hope Showcase won't be as expensive this year. I waited 8 months after release to get it almost $100 cheaper. If it is the same price, they should add another pack. $350 for 15 cards is alot. I only pulled like $380 BV from my '09 box and only got 2-3 PC cards.

I just found out the price for Showcase!!! $225 per box--that's a way better price than last year. I'll definitely get at least 1 box of it. I still might get Stealth if I can ever find out what the base design is.

I wanted to get 3 cases of Showcase but press pass is only allocating 2 cases per store! My local dealer is trying to get me a third case but seems none of the distributors have much more than a few boxes, not sure if they are sitting on them or what glad he gets 2 direct from press pass!

Thats the original price from last year, it just skyrocketed when the cards turned out to be sweet and demand picked up

For more than a month after it 1st came out--I never saw a price lower than $350/box. I ended up getting my box in March (this yr) for $256. One wk later it was up to $265 at the same store! I never saw anyone have it for $225, even the day they came out. I would definitely buy it for $225/box.

I paid $155 last year and the same price this year. But due to the limitations on orders that price is long gone. Hoping my local guy can get some more at a good price too.
