OT: Things that 'Drive you crazy" on here, within the hobby, or where ever else your boat floats.
Agghhh. Wanted to mix things up a bit on here for once. Wanted to here want your "Pet Pieves" are on here or where ever. "Concerning this hobby of course". My boat flows in this direction sometimes: Mine? For some reason it's multiple posts by the same person regading the same thing. I've seen alot of these lately and it has given me an idea to post this topic. Also, recieving low-end offers for my high-end stuff. C'mon. I'm like why send an offer over to me when you only have a bunch of smaller items...just bugs me. Another rant is regarding "ebay". When sellers list cards as a "Jersey piece" when it's really a piece of pant. All that does is confuse the hell out of the buyer. Because sometimes Beckett doesn't list it as either one, but on the back of the card it says "Pant". So why not just say "Pant card"? I see that sometimes and have to email the seller to ask if it's a Jersey piece or Pant piece...wasting time. Sorry for the rants and raves. Just had to get some of this off the ol' shoulders. You got any? Maybe recieving cards not in a bubble envelope? Others taking forever to ship out?...etc,,

Ugly 1/1s ------ I get annoyed when I see a 1/1 Auto/JSY where the auto is on a sticker and the game used piece is one color. I mean if its a 1/1 it should stand out in appearance. I personally have a hard time giving it 1/1 value if there's a similiar card that is 1/20 but looks better. Thats my small rant!

OT: Things that 'Drive you crazy" on here, within the hobby, or where ever els
1) People that take every word you type literally.
2) People that think they are important for some reason unbeknown to everyone else. It's a message board/baseball cards people. Time for a reality check. 3) People that continually bump their same trade thread for weeks on end. We get it, we know what you have/want. 4) "New Items For Trade" thread includes 25 of the same cards we've all seen you post before with 1-2 new cards. 5) Brown nosers. 6) People that talk on their phone while driving and they think that it doesn't impact how they drive. 7) Politicians/Lawyers/Business Executives 8) Traders/Buyers who apparently think that as soon as they buy/accept a trade, the other person should be buying a plane ticket and delivering the card THAT NIGHT. And don't expect great feedback unless you have a pizza and 6-pack with you as well. 9) People that complain about having to pay s/h as if sellers have infinite amounts of money to be giving things away all the time. 10) People that don't read item descriptions. 11) People who think rules apply to all but themselves. 12) People who feel they have zero responsibility when something goes wrong and it's always 100% the other guys fault. 13) People who feel that their signature block needs to cover an entire page. 14) People who feel that if they start a thread on a public message board, they are the managing authority of that thread. |

But Year they entered the league, It was his Fathers Jersey #, It was his College #, It was his High School #, The amount of girlfriends he had his Senior year # Etc. I AM BANNED |

It would be nice if there were some kind of guidelines on the do's & don'ts of shipping of cards.
Some traders tape the tops of the loaders & some don't. Some traders use team bags to place cards in when shipping some don't What the ? Some traders cancel a trade with no explanation not even a simple"Not finding anything at this time sorry! My bucket |

People who want my $20 dollar cards but only have $1-$2 dollar cards in their trade page.
People who have no Idea how to properly grade vintage. People with 10 trades that dont ship until they receive my end. This site being down or slow when I want to use it the most. People that want your Jersey cards and Autos but refuse to trade their own jerseys and Autos for them. People that dont secure the cards in an envelope. Thats a good start. |

id say that number 1 for me is when people make offers for your high end and they have nothing better then a 10$ relic of a semistar, nothing irritates me more. If you make an offer, use your head and think before you insult someone with a ridiculous trade offer.
