fila, unfortunately, ray is right in this particular case. the site goes down for maintenance issues from time to time, though it's mostly during night time(for me it is, but for people outside the US, it is not). it's also pretty clear that from time to time, things don't work on the site(i've had experiences myself). the biggest thing is, the mod already acknowledged that there are issues that beckett is trying to resolve. while it's good for you that you haven't had any problems, others clearly have, and the mod acknowledges, so why you would question whether it's people needing to fix their computers to fix a problem the SITE is having is completely beyond me. The stuff you said had nothing to do with... anything that was being discussed in here. ray was stronger with his words than he could have been, but you were also saying a lot of nothings.

Does anyone know if the lost threads are coming back? i took my pretty time posting all my cards for my pc as well as for trade so it would really suck if i lost all of it and have to do all that work over, but i will do so if the lost threads are lost for good

Hmm... Servers will definitely have maintenance and some downtime. But, your computer performance will also affect search speed and results, even your connection. Using Beckett is like playing online games, the game itself will have flaws but so do your computer. There will be many to talk about. But I guess, this search problem is entirely from Beckett servers and is not widely caused by some outdated system/software or undownloaded required software for any functions. I wanna talk more, but I guess my opinions must be kept(less talk, less mistake). But this will not deter me from replying from any post that needs my attention or my intention to inform about what I know. I hope you will understand me, hope you would.

Ray - Yes, tupark is right, you were a LITTLE harsher with your words than you needed to be, but I'll let it slide this one time. Not trying to sound like anyone's parent, but the feeling on the board is if you have nothing nice to say, just don't say anything at all (in regards to what you want to say something bad to, by all means keep posting on the boards, lol)

fila - tupark is correct in that what you were saying didn't have much to do with what this thread is about. I'm not sure if you've looked much at the Help boards, but there are many outstanding issues with this site that Beckett is actively trying to work on. I briefed this information before as I don't know all of the details, but this site was pushed out in its beta version by the previous owneer because he wanted to sell. There were and still are many issues that need to be resolved, and they're working on it. And it's not that your opinions aren't wanted/needed, it's just become a matter of what is appropriate on the boards. Such as the "Who Hates Me?" post. Not needed and I'm not sure where it stemmed from. Collecting is a business for some, and an escape for others. Most of the people on the boards are 18 or older and want to escape trivial things, and posting a thread like that and at the end saying Just Kidding is quite trivial. The posts on this board should be about basketball, cards, trading and the website. I unfortunately broke the rule about a month back when I made a post about my son being born. I know nobody's given me any flack for it, but I shouldn't have posted it on the boards. I'm not reprimanding you or anything like that, just restating the TOS and people's concerns here.
ping - Yeah, in a sense you are quite right. If you pay $6 for the pricing book, all parts of the book are available to you at all times, not just pages that have the cards you have. I understand that. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, everything is going in the right direction as these incidents and errors (at least from what I've seen) haven't been happening nearly as often. I have only had a page timeout on me a couple of times and then the search and trade function recently. But I keep my fingers crossed hoping it gets better. And thanks for the compliment on the banner. Those are only what I have scanned so far (haven't scanned in a few weeks) and I did it in a rush. And sorry about the size of it yesterday, because I did it in a rush, I didn't think about how big it was.

Xstream, I know that I can be a little crazy at times but that doesn't mean that my thoughts are garbage. I and you and all of us may have not downloaded any required software in order to use Beckett functions and searches properly. Beckett does have video posts but that doesn't matter any more cause it is not relevant. Browsers should be up to the task if you are using some Beta or soon to be upgraded site. Browsers are relevant here, if you are having troubles and Beckett system does not show any warning that pops-up or shows on your computer screen. If it does, then the problem is on your system, connection and stuff. Speed searches on any site are affected by your computers performance and some specific specs, even connection issues. I have had a great computer in the Philippines with great performance(tetrabyte = super fast). I use an apple desktop and a laptop when away, and both of these computers are modest compared to my own system in my real homeland. A lot are always good to debate to, I've seen taffster debating and discussing so many stuff that are relevant to the basketball forum(even tupark). But I will only do so if the time and the situation calls out for it. You were somewhat being spammed and I only helped with my opinions and ping only replied with such good words that I can take. I wanted to help but may be my initiative are not really appreciated. Problems are problems and it only gets worst when you don't resolve it. I tried... I will no longer post in this thread for now. I will and most definitely check this thread from time to time and see if I get some more harsh treatment or judgement. I'm almost always cool, but when you have to be serious, I'd be more dead serious than you are.
