After all this. ask to reverse the trade you both get your original cards back. If he doesn't return your cards, I would

Already requested this numerous times and if he does not make this right I will in your words NAME'UM AND FLAME'UM, just so this does not happen to anyone else with this trader, I also informed him that he would probably just change his user name and start over and he said he wouldn't I bet this will change his mind when no one will trade with him.

This is a perfect example why you should ask for scans of their cards BEFORE you trade away something you're gonna miss.

Im confused arent you a mod??? LOL

Yes, but he didn't say he had contacted a moderator until after I mentioned it.  I also told him to contact floydtown specifically since he has a thread devoted to trader issues, but any of the mods can do it.  Finally, he didn't contact ME, so I didn't know if he had contacted ANYBODY.

this is why i ask to see scans or pics...too many times ive recieved a card that is a one color patch, or auto is crummy, or card is in questionable condition...so on and so forth...

it is no wonder why so many people like this way of trading...sure I'll send you these cards that I don't want because they suck...

good luck to you since it sounds like you have been taken advantage of by yet another savvy card trader...

or should I say jerk...

I assumed that you would have thought I would have contacted a Mod about this already so there was no point in bringing this up. This was to get input from other members if I typed everything that I did in regards to this I would have 5 pages for everyone to read, I broke it down into bare minimum information so everyone would get the point.

I made contact with PhoenixRising34 originally and he was very helpful. I also attempted to contact floydtown since he recently comments on another thread so if he is in Iraq then apparently he is checking these threads which just shows dedication.

BigT314 Wrote:I am just now coming across this topic. This very thing happened to me two weeks ago. I traded new cards fro some '77 commons to fill a set. When I received the '77 cards they were not in the condition listed in the other traders organize. I emailed him and we traded back. He apologized and said he would take a closer look at his older stuff and change condition where applicable.

This is what should happen in your trade! Its not rocket science. Good Luck!

Is that 77 Topps football or baseball? If its football a friend of mine wanted me to get rid of some of his cards they range from 76-83 Topps and I really haven't looked into the box yet.
