Mailing to an unconfirmed address via paypal?
Has anyone ever done this before? This is the first time it has come up. I printed the label and noticed the name was different (only first name) and saw that it was an unconfirmed address via paypal. So what kind of protection do i have if it is unconfirmed? Is there a safe way to do it?

Mailing to an unconfirmed address via paypal?
Dude i do it maybe 1 out of 50 times, as a seller you should require them to get it confirmed before you ship because since its unconfirmed it will fall on you if they don't get it or if they're shady. I've never had a problem with any of mine so i just go ahead and send them. When i first started paypal and i was unconfirmed the seller made me get mine confirmed before he would ship it.

Mailing to an unconfirmed address via paypal?
I state in my auctions that payments from unconfirmed addresses aren't accepted. Someone paid that way once last year and I told him I was refunding it. He sent me a money order the next day and it was no big deal.
A few years ago my wife accepted an unconfirmed and the person said she never authorized the payment (after she received the item), so my wife was out the money and the item. Since then, we both refuse to accept them. |

I never send anything to an unconfirmed address if payment is made through paypal. To be protected by paypal you have to send to a confirmed address. Don't do it, it's very very easy to get confirmed by paypal ask the buyer to get confirmed or send you a check or money order and then only ship the card once the check or money order clears.

I did it all the time and never had a problem. If someone is going to scam you a conformation of their address is not going to stop them.
