typically you need 2 good rbs to win your league. (unless of course you ended up with Brady and Moss in a record breaking year). I personally think WRs are garbage picks, and never draft them high. i agree. you always have to take one rb in the first two picks. i prefer to take two but there are certain situations where you have to take a peyton manning late 1st rd/early 2nd or a top flight wr in the 2nd rd.

it's imperative two have two good starting rbs + a good backup imo
