OT: Who watches the walking dead?
#29

RE: OT: Who watches the walking dead?
In the books, there wasn't any real tension between Rick and Lori. In fact, she never told him about sleeping with Shane.

In the show, she had been instigating the whole mess between Rick and Shane. She kept being a tease to Shane until he snapped. She felt neglected by Rick when he was trying to protect everyone. When he tells her that he killed Shane, she gets cold and distant and pulled away. I'm guessing that months later and not "getting busy" has made Rick bitter and pissed as well.

Who wouldn't be when the wife gets mad at you for killing her lover!

What happened to Herschel actually happens to Dale in the book. Much later in fact.

As to the live prisoners.....they've been locked in the kitchen with all that food stored for hundreds if not thousands of inmates. They were fine.

Also, in the book Carl shoots and kills Shane. They bury him. Rick much later goes back and digs Shane up. He puts him down when Shane sits up.

FYI, if you haven't read the books, stay away and just watch the show. A lot of characters you love don't make it. It takes a little away from the experience knowing whose going to become zombie or human chow.
