What bothers me more, is that ESPN has done nothing but talk about the BoSox/Rays race. They are barely talking about the Braves/Cards race. I have heard/seen ten times more coverage of the AL wild card race than the NL race. I guess it is just more important to cover a divisional battle for the wild card spot.
By next years rules, it wouldn't matter anyway. The BoSox/Rays would both make it into a one-game showdown and the Braves/Cards would make it into a one-game showdown. I just hope the playoffs are better this year than they were last year. I want to see more Game 5's and Game 7's this year! Sweeps are pretty boring.
