I know they have looked good early before, but this year has a different feel maybe its because they didnt go out and waste money on 2 or 3 35 year old players on the downside of their career.

This year its about the home grown players. Notably home town boy Neil Walker, he hasnt quit hitting since he came up, kind of reminds me of Jeff Kent....I can hope lol

They still need pitching but postion player wise all they need is for Tony Sanchez to come up later this year and figure out SS.

And on top of the good start Charli Morton looked pretty good tonite.
