I played soccer nearly 20 years locally and played one year of college
this year I was pushed and persuaded to coach my son's team boys under 8 squad by my wife and
son.
last 2 years it was tough to watch my son play and not be overly critical of his play at times.
this year I've managed to keep my emotions in check and have found out just how hard it is to
coach young kids.
my son is very passionate about his play and loves the game and he happens to be a really good
player.
attitude and a sense of competition and sportmanship is the key in any sport
my son has both so that's why I'm not critical when his game is off
he will be a much better player than me as he gets older
