Box #1, pack #5
Javy Guerra RC purple refractor /10
Robert Stephenson prospect base
Trevor Story prospect auto
Jed Bradley prospect auto
Jordan Walden RC relic
Comments: I love the way the purples look.
You're still in it, though. If the Harper pack lands on a spot nobody picked, Dickey determines the winner.
Box #1, pack #6
Dee Gordon RC base
Trevor Story prospect base
Alex Cobb RC auto
Anthony Rizzo RC auto
Matt Reynolds USA relic
Comments: No parallels! This is a strong candidate for worst pack of the break, and someone did select this pack, so there may be some junk wax in the mail early next week! I do like the Rizzo auto, though.
Box #1 grade: C+
Comments: A red refractor and a purple refractor in the same box is pretty hard to beat. OTOH, they were of poor to weak subjects, so their cash value is pretty modest. I seriously doubt the red Harris is going to be the case hit, but it's still cool, and I definitely got more value than I invested. No Harper yet. Going to work out; be back around 6PM Eastern.
