If it is a refractor (or any other parallel), then it's not a true rookie card. If it is a base Bowman Chrome, then it is a true rookie card.

i'd say its a rookie. i think collectors should decide what is a rookie and not the corporations.

Since it is a refractor, I guess you could technically say it is an insert, therfore it would not be a TRUE Rookie Card. However, In my opinion I would treat it as a RC.

It is NOT a RC, but will always book higher and sell higher than the non-refractor version, so does it really matter what tag it has? Its the better card!
