Actually some of those manufactured patches sold EXTREMELY well. Any of the numbered parallels or the cup ones if I remember correctly went for mad cash. Unfortunately with Sid and AO now in the mix the master set collectors have pretty much all given up the ghost.

I cancelled my order of 2 cases last week. Although I think the product looks great, and there will be a bunch of great Bruins cards to pick up out of it, I just didnt think that the cases would hold much value. I opened 2 cases of Premier Basketball because they pretty much guarenteed a couple of major star autos (Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, ect.) If they did this with Hockey, I think people would be more willing to break it. I think keeping the price point under $200 a pack will help them move some though. We'll have to wait and see how the rest of the breaks look as the product trickles out over the next few days.

I expect that some people will love the product. It will be interesting to see if hardcore Player Collectors find the need to add all the manufactured patches of their players. Could cause some mayhem on the secondary market. It just seems like a high pack cost for a niche product but we will see. The tier system of jerseys and jersey/auto cards means there is pretty much something for every budget.

Yes, its one per tin. It was the same with football, baseball and basketball. I also think that if your opening this product, you would have read the sell sheet and it wouldnt be a surprise.

I know in the other 3 major sports, the manufactured patches are popular among player collectors. I sold a Kevn Durant for $110 Smile
