I will have to check but i am pretty sure i have over 1000 chipper jones cards but thats only because i bought a collection from a huge Braves collector.Crazy thing is i am a Mets fan & do not really even collect Chipper.

I have 4 players in my "1000" club..
Nomar Garciaparra - 2033
Pedro Martinez - 1207
Manny Ramirez - 1200
Mickey Mantle - 1057 (How did a Yankee crack this list??!)

Coming close to 1000...
David Ortiz - 969
Roger Clemens - 838
Mo Vaughn - 734
Ted Williams - 729

So it looks like I need to do some work here...I'll probably never hit 1000 on Mo, Clemens, or Ted. Ortiz I will likely hit by the end of the year.
So let's do some trading, take my Mantle's for your Ted Williams and let's see them get flopped in the order!

I dont think im even close to 1000 with any player, last time I checked I had over 500 Ripkens but I havent counted in a while.... Next is Galarraga but closer to 200 than to 1000 lol

As a guy who's only been collecting since 2011 with limited resouces (which is to say I'm broke) the idea of having 1000 different cards of a guy is mind-boggling. Not only has the collector dedicated so much of his time & money to those cards but the player(s) stayed in the majors long enough for there to be over 100 different cards of them made every year. Hats off to all of ya'll.

Anyway no 1000 club for me as my 43 Jose Bautista cards are the most I've got for any individual player. Weak, I know.

Well look at the bright side, everyone had 43 at some point. In a few years you might have 200 and a few more years and you can have 1000!!

A trade arriving yesterday from cweiland puts my Albert Pujols collection over 1000 different cards making him the 24th member of my 1000 Card Club. My original post has been edited to show updated totals. Next up Wade Boggs or Ichiro Suzuki both within 50 cards.

I would have had well over 2,000 griffey cards but I keep selling or trading for other pc needs, nowhere close to anyone else! Have 300 or so Randy Johnson's he's the closest I have to 1000.

I'm at 1644 Griffeys not including the random stuff not listed in Beckett and Ichiro is second at 588. I hope to get 2000 Griffeys by the end of the year and close to the 1000 for Ichiro.
