Would you prefer a PSA 9 OC vs. a PSA 8 without the designation or even a BGS 8.5?
But I've heard that a card with an o.c. designation would normally grade about two grades lower minus the o.c. designation. For instance, a psa 9 o.c. would grade a psa 7.
All three of the major grading companies are solid and all have their strong and weak points. As someone said earlier, it's almost a matter of preference.
