2012 HOF Vote
#11

RE: 2012 HOF Vote
I missed Mattingly....definitely should be in.

I may be biased being a Braves fan, but I find it strange that Dale Murphy hasn't been inducted yet.

RE: 2012 HOF Vote
Dale Murphy, Jack Morris, Jeff Bagwell and Mark McGwire (and yes I realize he took PEDs).
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

RE: 2012 HOF Vote
Lee Smith and Barry Larkin.

I'd consider Bagwell and McGwire, but would probably end up leaning "no" on both. If it were the "Hall of above average players" I'd include both of them, along with Mattingly, Raines, and Murphy...but it's not. "My" Hall of Fame only gets the elite of the elite.

RE: 2012 HOF Vote
Larkin will definitely make it, if not this year then next. If he wasn't a shortstop there'd be no way he'd make it. I also think González, Bagwell, Martínez, and Walker should make it.

Lee Smith. Too good not to be there.

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.
