As some of you knew, I was waiting on this pre-ordered case from Dave and Adam's. It arrived this wekend. I was busy and barely had time to bust the boxe. I've got most of it scanned in and with list each case seperately over the next 3 days on this thread.

The first 8-box case was probably the best. Other than a single box, the 2nd case was by far one of the worst I've seen.

My biggest criticism of the boxes and Panini....the collating was not very good. In 24 boxes in the entire case, I could not put together one complete set of base cards (I was shy by 3 cards from completing one...in 24 boxes???). Also, I had 4 base rookie cards of one player in a single 8 box case.

There were a lot of redemptions but I was not shorted any hits in all boxes.

Comments are certainly welcome. I only ask that there are not a lot of comments about the cost. We all know with Panini you don't get what you put into it. I knew that going in. The hits only are listed and in my photobucket.

Wow where do you start. The first case with the 1/1s was amazing. I also like the second but from a more personal perspective as it had the Derrick Thomas, and of course the Boldin NFL die cut that is just unreal, not to mention the Murray. As much as it's hard to believe there wasn't one complete base set in the 24 boxes it doesn't surprise with panini. Congrats on all the awesomeness Mel and looking forward to seeing the last case.

Terrible collation is right, I participated in a group break and the hits were pretty weak overall. Congrats on the nice stuff you did pull!

His second case wasn't so hot...but he still did slightly better than we did, and that's not saying much.


Congrats Mel on the hits so far, I'm stoked to see you get some nice 1/1's and a great card for your project!


However, that's a pretty sorry statement that you can't put together the base sent from an entire master case. Something is really, REALLY wrong with this picture. Unless, of course, they didn't make those 3 cards and I wouldn't put it past them.
