i have flag up given up questioning high shipping price with sellers the responses back and them screaming at me was too much too bare. between ebay, amazon, and our webstore I use to ship out somewhere between 100-300 packages a week when we were busy and almost all of them fell into the trading/selling/shipping card weights for packages (records, cds, t-shirts, cassettes) so pretty much everything 2oz-10oz unless they were combined orders. I hate gutting people for our shipping costs and even on ebay continue to knock money off if it is cheaper to ship. always have, always will. just wish other sellers would do the same.

I don't put anything about combining shipping on my auctions, but I always do combine even if the buyer doesn't ask. Have had multiple people pay me so quickly I couldn't get invoices with the combined shipping rate sent out in time so I just refund the difference via Paypal. I hate getting robbed by sellers on shipping so I wouldn't do it to others. I am by no means a big seller on EBAY but have noticed the same names bidding and winning my items so I guess not hammering people on shipping is really helping with repeat customers. Powersellers or not, if you keep pissing on your buyers eventually they will not be your buyers.

Wow!! I do the same thing, except I slip a couple of $$ cash in there because PayPal will take a but of the $$ I send them.
I write a note saying I combine and here is the difference.
Makes their day too!!! They never expect something like that..

Hilarious. I wonder why it is that we're god-blessed so frequently by the whackjobs and sadists? It sure seems like I'd have fewer problems if I auto-blocked both buyers and sellers who god-bless me. (I don't.)

Can I ask you guys a question. Why are you so obsessed with the postage shipping cost of a seller. I mean, you have the right to buy from whomever you choose. You could simply go to another seller that charges less. I know you think "wow, I have found someone selling a card I want that books for $10 but I can win the auction for only a $1 and get the deal of the century but dont want to pay $4 for shipping cause that would mean I got a $10 for $5 and feel I got ripped off"......lol

Gas, packing supplies, time, and ebay/paypal cost have gone up. $4 doesnt seem too much compared to alot of those infomercial stuff that charge $20 for shipping a $20 item.

just stay away from buying $1 cards.

I personaly don't have a problem paying $1 -$2 more than actual postage cost as they still have gas,time, ink, paper, Bubble envalope and holders involved but much more unless it is a larger and timely order to fill is just insulting.

yeah i bothers me too, but if i send to canada anymore , i will be charging the bear minimum that it cost me to ship w/ tracking info, so we are talking about $15, but since i just got burned by some clown on ebay for $80, i learned to never, ever send a card first class mail, and only use express, or priority. Ebay needs to have a page were we can see who has filed for refunds in the past, as a matter of fact, every site should have somewhere we can see on who has been filing reports of not receiving cards. Everybody protects the buyer, lets make some info available to the sellers too!

It's a little ridiculous... I guess people use it as a cushion for their "low" BIN prices or just like to rip people off... if they are charging me $10 for one card, I better be getting that card the next day!

if shipping is over 3.00 on i dnt bid.screw that.i usually dnt buy lots of cards but have and its a little more,but i ship almost everyday and 1 card wth delivery conformation is 2.51 no exceptions to anywhere usa!!!!!!
