"All data should be migrated now" from the email
Found the Beckett email in my junk folder. My organize isn't all there and the stuff that is, is out of date. I see lots of threads being posted, deleted, re-posted, ect about the same issue

Check out my profile to see which sets i'm working on or I'm always up for some open offers. I don't really collect anyone/thing specifically.

curiosity:

so you have some stuff, not other stuff. is this is specific folders, all items, etc?

if there is something missing...if you do a search outside of organize, the card comes up: the symbol on the far right: is it full, or faded? (the one that says it is in your arganize, or add to organize)

It's weird. I was adding stuff the day of the re-launch (not knowing there was one). Some stuff is here and some stuff isn't anywhere in my organize at all. Lots of deleted folders and cards are back again aswell. Items in trades are stll out of date so hopefully their not done with that update.
I had 6 weeks off work so I deleted my entire old/out of date organize and started adding everything back. It took a month, but just about the time I finished, all this mess happened. Obviously I'm not very pleased. If I have to go back through all my cards to figure out what made it and what didn't, I think I'm done

Yeah I'm missing cards too I don't know how many but that doesn't really matter. Even if it's only two it might as well be all of them because i will never know unless i check them all. Will probably end up having to delete what's in there and start all over. Gonna take a week or so.

I find myself in the same situation. Items I had listed and PC files that I had set up in the week preceding the new launch are either empty or non-existent. There is no chronological order in my all items file. I have not received the email from Beckett, and if it is true that "all data should be migrated now", why has it not been updated under item 10 in the misc. list in the updates post? Thanks to the member who shared the letter with those of us who did not receive it. I feel we have been in the dark long enough, and at least this information shed some light on the long road ahead.

no problemo. i figured it was going to take a few days to get the email out to everyone, or it might end up in spam folders

im hoping things get back on track soon.

and that letter answered some folks criticism: why bring the site up if it wasnt ready? looks like they had the big stuff functioning, but when they went live, it was running slow so they took it down to make it faster (at least, that's how i read the organize situation from the letter)

I'm going to ask them about the migration stuff as I'm also missing data.

As for the email letter that this 11 year member DID NOT receive, I say...blowing smoke! Beckett releases this without thoroughly testing it first and WE reap all of the headaches! But you know what folks...this isn't the first time. Or, as a lot of you may already know, who have been struggling with the old antiquated system for years..what's new! And BTW, I have seen the same excuses before!

Let me just say real quick that XSTREAMINSANITY has been the only saving grace here. Taking the time to read all of our complaints and to respond to every last one has to be wearing him down. Thanks for a little consolation anyway.

However, back to the root of the problem. Beckett....you are taking our money from year to year...please get this OPG and entire online organize right, and quick! My subscription is in it's waning months and while I don't know what else is out there, you can bet I am looking for some alternate. If you care about your customers the way you say you do, then show it!

I definitely don't want to take all of the credit, CEOcards and Floydtown have also been just as involved in solving problems. However, as for it wearing me down, eh, not so much. This is my second home, so when I have problems at home, I come here. Smile But when I have problems here, I have to fix them as I don't have a third home. lol.

As for the issues that are going on and the ones that went on in the past (to try and ease your pain and hope you stay), believe me when I say that they are different. By different, I mean different President, different IT staff (including IT Guys and developers) and different situation. The previous site was released in shambles because of the company changing hands (don't know all of the details, just know the devs told the person in charge at that time it was not ready,....the person in charge didn't care). This site was released because it needed to be. As for the testing, I wasn't involved involved in the tested, but I saw a demo and made sure to send daily emails (even sometimes more than one in a day) to Beckett with ideas and concerns. When I saw the demo, most of my concerns were taken care of. And somehow (and I know this from experience since I'm a software developer myself) something went wrong with the release. I'm guessing, that Beckett, at the risk of losing customers and some credibility, decided to leave the site up and work out it's problems in production (as many other companies have too). This way, again at a risk of upsetting the customer, the customer could provide every detail needed to make the site as good as it could be and help determine the problem areas. For instance, I don't know the size of staff at Beckett, but even if it were 100 developers and testers, aren't 10,000 voices louder? But believe me, Beckett did NOT want this to happen this way. They gain nothing out of it, they only lose. Just please, have faith in them as I do, that they are working on and taking care of the issues. Hopefully sooner rather than later, we'll all be trading and organizing and the help board will be a ghost town (to regular users, not to newbies). Smile Hope all is well, and thanks again for the kind words.

You are absolutely correct bro. 10,000 voice at a minimum of $6 or $9 in some cases per month is much louder. Beckett is getting paid well for having us test for them.
