Hi to all!<br />
I have been here since 2005 and I have made many friends and its been a lot of fun... I thought it would be fun to have a "500th" post contest and give everybody a chance to win a 2000 UD Legends Legendary Signatures Dave DeBusschere.<br />
<br />
I will try to make this contest as simple as I possibly can.<br />
Show your 3 best "basketball" cards. When I say best, that dosen't mean it must be a $10,000 card or be graded Gem Mint. Grade of card or card value will not be one of the factors. However, the card should be a nice one! Please no base or anything like that... It should be a limited RC, autograph card, game used, or something nice. And yes, you can show 3 1/1 cards or 3 cards numbered to 500 or a non-numbered Nash Skybox auto(just for example). I am fair and will consider all cards, not one over the other for any reason. Please select 3 of your best "basketball" cards.<br />

I will let this contest run from today(Monday, Novenber 2nd) up until Sunday the 8th, so that everybody has a chance to post their 3 top cards. I will then pick 5 cards that I like out of all the cards, but I will not pick 2 cards from one person, to make it fair shot for everybody. I will try to give the best possible explanation of why I picked each of the 5 cards.<br />
<br />
After I pick 5 top cards, I will then ask everybody who wants to vote, to vote for ONLY one card and this will go on until Wednesday, November 11th, so that there can be as many votes as possible. On Thursday at 12:01 A.M I will count up all the votes and the winner will receive the card. PLEASE NOTE: If one of your cards doesn't make it, I ask that you please submit your vote anyway, to help everybody who is still playing a chance.<br />

This card is graded a PSA 4, but no way did I send it in thinking it would get that... Actually I thought it was a Gem 10! I sent in 5 cards from that set and 4 came back perfect 10's, my one Baylor came back a Mint 9 and this was a 4, which I had no idea why, but at waaaay closer inspection, it seems that there is a minor crease on the card, but you can't even see it and its definetly not on the autograph itself.<br />

It looks better in person! This is an old scan that I posted a while back on another forum and I blocked out the grade because I wanted everybody to guess the grade and don't have the regular scan... For those who are not aware, DeBusschere passed away back in 2003 and he only has 2 certified autos. Not sure how much this books for these days, but it has gone up in the past few years and it should go up at some point.<br />

I hope I covered everything.... If not, please let me know and I will fix it. Of course I will not be playing this game, lol. I enjoy and appreciate everybody here and I want to give everybody a chance to play. Dosen't matter if you have 10,000 posts or 1 post, whether you just joined or been here for 15 years, everybody is welcomed to play... Enjoy!

Of course you can vote! But please wait till the very end, so that you can see all cards first. I will pick 5 cards and then everybody can vote for one card out of the 5 and then the votes will be counted.<br />

Nice cards so far everybody! But I will need to see all cards.... I will pick them on Sunday, so that people have the chance to post their cards. Then I ask anybody who wants to vote for one card, but vote only because you feel it is the BEST card out of the 5, not just because somebody is your friend or anything like that. Nick, not saying you by the way, just in general, I ask everybody to make a final decision based on which one they truely feel is better and to explain why they picked that card.<br />

My first card I would pick is a dual auto of Tom Gola and Dolph Schayes by Razor. I'd choose this because I've never seen an auto of Tom Gola, as soon as I saw it I knew I needed to have it for my HOF collection. Even though It's Razor it is still one of my favorite cards. <br />

The second card I would choose is my Dr. J. Auto inscription. Beautiful auto with a great inscription. I feel he doesn't get as much hobby love as Bird and Magic but he deserves to.<br />

And the last card I would choose is my Jordan/Pippen dual jersey, IMO greatest duo of all time. It's no auto but it is a beautiful card and what makes it so special to me is that it was pulled from a retail pack. <br />
