Did you actually mean 43rd ROUND, or 43rd PICK?

There is NO way Destin falls to the 43rd ROUND of the draft, no matter how raw his tools are.

There was an article yesterday out of Alabama where he was talking about playing pro baseball was his lifelong dream. I expect him to sign, even in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Does anyone think Posey will get the $12M he's rumored to be asking for? Or is it a bluff by his representatives as leverage? If true, that would be the highest bonus for any drafted player, ever.

Any chance the Mets bite on one of these guys? Haven't heard their names too much.

The odds of Lawrie being available for the Mets are slim and none. If he makes it past #16 I would be very shocked.

I would much rather see the Mets take a gamble on a kid like Anthony Hewitt. Local kid (from Brooklyn) and tremendous upside and raw 5-tools.

Finger crossed Jacob Thompson goes fifth round or higher, to a team that isnt the Royals. I remember when he was projected to go top 10 overall last year. I've been a huge fan ever since I watched him pitch last year at UVA, and even though his command was off a bit this year, I know he can just shut down an offense when he's on. I think whoever picks him up will get a pretty sweet steal. Also very interested to see where Satterwhite goes, in the late 2nd or early 3rd hopefully.
