I hope so, but the 2B they drafted they say has no speed and projects at best to .270 with 10-15HR, I would rather have Melville, I dont think many would disagree.

Duh, but I would rather have a chance at Melville than a league average second baseman.

why would they draft him, if they weren't prepared to make him an offer close to what he was asking?
