Wow twins selecting Collier and Hicks. They would have a pretty solid minor league outfield with Revere, Parmelee (may move to 1B), Joe Benson, Collier, and Hicks. I would prefer a SS or 3B but a good bat should be their main focus.

Hopefully 2008 BDP/Bowman Sterling/Elite Extra first. Then, some will get repeat performances in 2009 Bowman.

why would we draft a SS, they would never move Jeter and never let him leave, he is there for another 6-7 years. Hunt is only 4 spots away, I wish he would leak a high demand for signing so he falls a little more.

Only way the Royals take Hosmer is if they are convinced he'll settle for less than his asking price, about 4.5mil, they wont pay Hosmer much more than they paid Gordon, Hochevar or Moustakas. David Glass will stick with his slotting rules to make his buddy Selig happy.
If Hosmer lets Boras make the decision, he'll go to junior college and came back to the draft in 09, like Boras was telling Moustakas to do.
Last year I heard Moustakas before the draft saying he wanted to play pro ball not college, so I was confident. Has anyone heard anything from Hosmer?

I really don't see the A's taking Weeks over Wallace. The A's have a greater need at second but it isn't like the A's to take a HS infielder over a college slugging stud like Wallace.
EDIT: Ugh... Weeks is a college player. I don't know who I'm thinking of.
