I am excited, its the first day off of school, the draft is on, Homer is pitching at 1 (even though its not going to be on TV :doubt: )

The Twins have 3 picks in the first 31 of the draft, hopefully they stick to slot or go over on a couple of the picks.

I'd love seeing Brett Lawrie in a Twins Uniform so we can have a couple Canadian sluggers in a few years (with Morneau)

I hope the Rays go with T-Beck, mostly cuz I want to pick start COLLECTING (as opposed to prospecting) Buster Posey the second he has a Chrome card. Makes it a lot easier if everyone doesn't remember him as the #1 overall pick.

And it seems like the Pirates really want Pedro Alvarez, so whoever goes first-Posey or Beckham- The other may not even go until the Royals pick at #3.


I've never been so excited for any pro draft. LET'S DO THIS.
