Another great pitcher has left us. His 1974 Topps card was always one of my favorites.

I know he was an A's and had WS titles, but I remember him as a Giant 1978 -1981 and then at the end of career.
Always though he was a great pitcher...
He will be missed!!

Always loved that name and he came on the MLB scene like Doc Gooden did before Doc's time. RIP Vida Blue.

One of the more underrated players of the 70s along with J.R. Richard.
Beckett still lists his '70 RC at $4. Good luck finding a NM copy at that high value
