Most valuable cards - jack pfiester - 02-10-2019

Decided to sort My Organize by value just to see what exactly I have.

Not as great as I thought but my Perez-Steele HOF Postcards prop up the total value.

What do you have to display?

RE: Most valuable cards - DrMitchJ - 02-10-2019

I just went to check my collection. Much to my surprise, my most valuable card according to the guide just plummeted by 50% ... I'm sure we're not allowed to put up actual values, but my 2011 Trout RC US175 Red border Target card was my most valuable, but with its value chopped in half, it's still up there as numero uno, but the $$$ is half as impressive. Oh well, I wasn't selling it either way.
I have nearly 300 cards that are not valued as some are under /25 print runs, while some others are just not evaluated, perhaps due to lack of sales information?

Here are my top 25 MVCs:

I blocked out the prices in order to not infringe on the TOS

RE: Most valuable cards - DrMitchJ - 02-10-2019

It's really tough to evaluate those n/a cards. Some might be ridiculous, others may be valueless. I wish there was a better way. It's hard to figure a 1/1 on eBay, if your 1/1 was never up for auction. Smile
I have a low numbered Harper auto and Trout auto that would certainly displace a couple of cards in my top 25.

Thanks. It was all luck and all pack pulled ... I was buying Target (and occasionally Walmart) out of every 2011 UPD blaster they could stock at the time ... and ironically it wasn't for the Trout RCs ... it was for the online contest cards and the retail manufactured relic in each box. The Trout US175 cards were just a little surprise bonus Smile ... but in total I pulled 22 base (traded 2), 1 cognac, 1 target red, 1 Walmart blue ... at the time, I believed I complained about Topps' bad collation, but that was the one time it worked in my favor.

RE: Most valuable cards - jack pfiester - 02-14-2019

Looking through My Organize sorted by value, I noticed that the newest HOF inductee's really took off. 1988 Fleer Glossy Edgar at $30!!!

RE: Most valuable cards - hempick - 02-16-2019

I don't use the organize thing on here, but I know that my most valuable card is my 1957-58 Topps Bill Russell rookie (BGS 5).

Second is my 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig rookie (BGS 1.5).

After that it might be my 2007-08 Topps Finest Kevin Durant Blue Refractor rookie (BGS 10) and after that I'm not sure.

EDIT:

I'm a dumb dumb. I forgot about my 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie (PSA 8). Shame on me. That's worth more than the Gehrig, I think.
