My '54 Topps Set, Scan Heavy - thepointguard_10 - 10-13-2015
Sorry for posting 10,000 pictures- but if I'm sharing the set- I've got to share it all! I didn't want to scan them, so I just took pictures in the binder. Also I'm sorry for some of the glare.
There's a few that I'd like to replace that are stained badly, really bad creased; but for the most part, I like them the way they are- and I consider it complete, even if I do replace some!

Thanks Matt! I also posted my '56 set. I'm currently trying to work on '55 & '53. Mostly '55s so far though, about 20% done with it.

Wow. Awesome. When you look at the players, you realize how much better the talent level was in the league before expansion.

The '50s were also the golden era in my opinion. If I could've been born in any other time period- I would've been a young man/teenager in the '50s as a sports writer.
Mays, Aaron, Mantle, Williams, The Duke, Yogi, Banks, Kaline- the list goes on and on.
It would've been AMAZING.

and woogie23: I got bit by the vintage bug about a year ago; and I've decided to do all sets in the '50s of Topps. Got two biggies knocked out, '52 will be impossible- but '53/'55 are attainable; and '57-'59 will be a breeze in comparison.
I'm looking forward to getting those!
