Just got probably my best pull EVER from a pack 1/1 style - sesfan01 - 06-26-2015
so I was at a pharmacy store the other day and went in to get a few packs. They had an aisle of cards that are from a few years ago, but at about half the regular cost. So I got about 8 mixed packs all together (1 2012 topps heritage, 1 2010 topps chrome, 1 2013 topps, 1 2010 topps update, 1 2007 upper deck future stars, 3 2011 topps, and 1 of those special 1 pack patch card packs I think from 2010 or 2011 topps). The first few packs were mainly just base and common inserts and then I got to the patch card:

and then later when I was sorting through my cards I noticed something on one of my inserts from 2011 topps:

that is the 2011 topps gold canary diamond Gavin Floyd 1/1. I haven't decided if I should trade it or try to sell it, maybe a team collector would want it (can't imagine there are too many Floyd collectors out there). But anyways, I can't believe I actually pulled a 1/1 out of a pack! pretty exciting when I realized what it was though, lol.

I went ahead and marked everything I just opened for trade, including the reynolds patch and the Floyd 1/1. I have no idea what kind of trade value to put on this, so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

sweet man!!! so it is possible to pull a 1/1 out of a pack instead of buying it on ebay lol

yeah, I still can't believe I pulled it. Guess I'm still in that "awe" phase, lol.
