Got my BGS order back today! SCAN HEAVY! - BGS_Graded_Card_Guy - 05-08-2015
Hey all. I got my BGS order back today! I had sent in 34 cards for the 20 day service and overall, I'm pretty happy with the results.
As most of you know, I completed the 2001 Leaf Certified Materials Bronze Foil set and I'm in the process of getting them graded and I may start a registry for them.
With so many cards laying around waiting for me to send in for grading, I only sent in a fraction of the Bronze cards and decided to submit some other things I'd picked up recently from trades and breaks.
So without further delay, here are the results:

Got this in a trade here on the forums. I have a good feeling about this kid. Super happy with the grade.

Got this in a case I broke. Always wishing for at least a 9.5 but it is what it is. I know this is bitching to ***** but anything that comes out of a sealed case/box/pack and won't grade a 9.5 just gripes me a bit.

I have no idea why I sent this in. I think maybe because it looked clean. I don't even know anything about him except the card was sitting on my desk when I went to put my order into Beckett. LOL.

Gotta say this one pisses me off a little bit. It was never even removed from the holder that Topps sent it to me in and it only got a 9. Oh well.

I got this in a mini box I picked up during a work trip in Yakima, WA. I'm a sucker for grading plates. They never get good grades but it is more for protecting a 1/1 I guess.

This is part of the 2001 Leaf Certified set but it is the Silver foil version. Apparently I have two of this card as I found another one I already had graded. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it since it is an extra one but I'm sure somebody will help me move it if I want to trade it away.

This set is condition sensitive so I pretty much expected nothing above an 8. Anything that came back above was just icing on the cake for me.

Nice Fabric of the Game cards. Those thick game used cards are tough graders most of the time.

That's some very good grades you've got for your bowman.
I'm surprised by the average grade the Leaf have gotten. 8 seems quite low after my idea.
